Dortha Simpson
Dortha Simpson, 95, of Tunnelton went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
She was born March 7, 1921, in Rowlesburg, a daughter of the late Delbert and Jessie Sigley Funk.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Dortha was a member of Flag Chapel United Methodist Church and treasurer for the church and cemetery association. She loved gardening and being busy.
She is survived by her three sons, Harry Simpson and wife, Linda of Clarksburg; Roger Simpson of Tunnelton and Howard Simpson and wife, Dean of Newton Falls, OH; her daughter, Wilma Colebank and husband, Roger of York, Pa.; two sisters, Doris Bell of Rowlesburg and Violet Holyfield of Akron, OH; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bradford Simpson in 2005, two brothers, three sisters, two great grandchildren and her daughter in-law.
