Dortha Nell Bentley Moyers, 67, of Meridianville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday.
Mrs. Moyers was a 1964 graduate of Hazel Green High School. She had been a cosmetologist for 40+ years and had last worked at Classic Cuts in Madison. She was a loving & generous wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend to all she met. She thought about others instead of herself, even when she was sick. She had a special love for children, a wonderful sense of humor, and was a very determined person.
Mrs. Moyers is survived by her husband, Ernest “Jr” Moyers, her sons, Greg Moyers and Robert Moyers and his wife, Misty Moyers; Her grandchildren: Cody Moyers, Ainslie Moyers, and Karissa Moyers; 2 great-grandchildren: Waylon and Nolan Moyers; Her sister: Delores Bentley; Her brothers, Pete Bentley and Solon Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Whitney and Lula Mae Ricketts Bentley; Her siblings: Lillie Pearl Tallent, Maxine Bentley, William M. “Jim” Bentley, and Donald Dean Bentley.
