Dortha “Dot” Jean Morgan, 92, of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Morgan was born July 21, 1930 in Rowan County, North Carolina to the late Elizabeth Eury and her later step-father, Paul Eury.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Paul Thomas Morgan, Sr., son Arnold Lee Morgan, granddaughter Hailey Payne, sister Nancy Stirewalt, step-brother J.P. Eury (Gabriele, living).
Dot was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and follower of Christ. Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include daughter, Janet Morgan Payne (Troy-deceased) of Concord, NC; daughter, Paula Morgan Starnes of Concord, NC; daughter, Anita Carol Morgan of China Grove, NC; son, Paul Thomas Morgan, Jr. (Becky) of Stanley, NC; step-sister, Jean Safrit (Eddie); step-sister, Shirley Barbee (Fred). Also surviving are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
