Dorothy “Dort” Ellen Gregg was born in Longmont, Colorado to Ellen Nelson Gregg and Albert Mervin Gregg, and beloved sister to Albert, Donald, and Clare. She graduated from Colorado Springs High School and the CU School of Nursing before a long and distinguished career in psychiatric nursing. She was outstanding in her field and served the mental health community, traveling and teaching in many states before her retirement in 1985.
