Dorska Lee Law was born when he blessed his parents, Levert Law and Minnie Howze Law with his birth on April 16, 1923, in Coffeeville, Alabama. He was the second of three children born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brother, Calvin and his sister, Christine. Dorska received his formal education in Alabama where he attended the local public schools. In 1943, he enlisted in the United States Army.
