Dorsey E. (Cress) Walters, 71, entered into rest with her loving family by her side on the morning of Aug. 9, 2012. Dorsey entered into this world on Aug. 28, 1940 a daughter of the late Audis G. and Gertrude B. (Johnson) Cress born in the family home in Masontown, WV raised up in an adoring family. On Dec. 1, 1962, Dorsey married the love of her life, Mr. Larry Allen Walters Sr. Together they moved to the home in Petersburg, OH in 1963. Dorsey had worked outside of the home as a cook at the Bessemer Croatian Club for about 10 years. She was a member of the Croatian Club, SNPJ, and the Johnson Club. To all those who knew Dorsey, she was simply known as mom, not only to her own children, but to all she felt needed a mom. She was a loving, caring, kind woman who always looked after those she loved. A devoted wife, adoring mom, grandma and great-grandma, she will always be remembered. Dorsey leaves behind her husband, Larry; daughters, Laura B. Hilling and her husband, Vernon of Morgantown, WV, Marion D. Cameron and her husband, Eric of New Middletown, and Mrs. Amy B. Nelson and her husband Cliff, of Petersburg; sons, Mr. Larry A. Walters and his wife, Cassie of Petersburg, and Mr. Charles G Walters and his wife, Audrey of New Middletown; a sister, Mrs. Elsie ( Jerri) Metz and her husband, William of Masontown; and brothers, Dale C. Cress and his wife, Diane of Masontown, Donald C. Cress and his wife, Virginia of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Junior (Sam) Cress and his wife, Wendy, also of Masontown. Dorsey also leaves 11 grandchildren, Amanda Newman, Meagen Gribble, Jessica Hilling, Logan Hilling, April Walters, Katie Walters, Christopher Walters, Eric Cameron, Kearstin Nelson, Ryan Nelson, and Robert Walters; and five great-grandchildren, Grace Newman, Emma Newman, Lillie Newman, Wyatt Gribble and Mackenzie Gribble. Dorsey had been preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Kaden Nelson; two sisters, Wanda Kobb and Virginia Lowdermilk; a brother, Audis J. Cress.
