Dorris Calton passed away December 29, 2019 at home from a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.
She was born in Burwell Nebraska, July 26, 1936 to Margene Elivra Walker and John Reeves Walker.
In May of 1954 she met her beloved “Arch” who deeply loved his Dory Mae. They had 50 wonderful years together.
She worked for “Ma Bell” from which she retired. One of her passions was volunteer work; some of them were Telephone Communication Workers of America, where she served for many years, March of Dimes, Roy Historical Museum, and Utah School for the Deaf and Blind. She never turned down an opportunity to help others.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, both parents, brothers David (Davey) and Arthur (Art).
She is survived by her daughter Tamara C (Dennis) Haislip, Steven Michael (Christina) Calton, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren she adored and referred to as her heart.
