Age 84, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2015. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and terrific friend. She was a strong woman of faith and her kindness always brought out the best in everyone around her. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph, of 62 years, son James (Julie) Bernal, daughter Susan (Ted) Virgilio, grandchildren Dan, Christina(Ben) Collins, Lisa, Allison, Laura, brother Ed (Dolores) Gerut, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Stanley Gerut. Dorothy was the youngest of three children born to Wanda and Stanley Gerut. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL until 1983 when Joe and Dorothy moved west to Scottsdale, AZ. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all those who have been blessed to know her.
