Dorothy Virginia Gray Gustin, 86, Anderson, died April 10, 2007 at Rawlins House, Pendleton after an extended illness. She was born August 12, 1920 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson her entire life.
She attended Anderson High School before hiring on at Guide Lamp. She retired from Delco Remy in 1985 after more than 30 years of service with General Motors.
Dorothy and her beloved husband, Virgil ”Pink” Gustin, loved to travel and take family members with them. For this, they will always be fondly remembered. She also loved to plant beautiful flower beds and give the fruits of her labor to all. She will be deeply missed by all her family and those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Dorothy leaves behind her loving daughter, Linda and husband Darrell Dean Whitesel of Middletown; grandson, John Gabriel and wife Angela Bingaman of Pendleton; granddaughter, Summer and husband Joseph Armintrout of New Albany, Ohio and great grandsons, Gabriel Storm Bingaman, Virgil Chance Bingaman and Carter Joseph Armintrout. Remaining siblings are brothers, Frank and wife Sharon Gray, Tom and wife Shirley Gray, Glen and wife Debbie Gray and sisters, Doris Divilbiss and June Hinkle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Irma Williamson Gray; Dorothy’s husband of 48 years, Virgil ”Pink” Gustin; Stepson, Donald L. Gustin and siblings, Paul Gray, Joe Gray, George Gray, Jack and wife Penny Gray, Robert Gray, Martha Lou Gray and Jean and husband James ”Red” Gibson.
