Dorothy (Tareila) Rogers, 97, of Cromwell, wife of the late George Rogers Jr. who died in 1968, passed away on Sunday, April 20th at Middlesex Hospital. Born on June 11, 1916 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Petronella (LeLasher) Whitaker and the late Michael Tareila.
Dorothy graduated from New Haven High School and the Connecticut College of Pharmacy with honors (1937). She worked at several local Pharmacies and at Connecticut Valley Hospital. Dorothy maintained her pharmacy license into her 90s.
