Dorothy Egan Slater, 95, of 120 Ann’s Farm Road, Hamden, went to heaven on Dec. 1, 2008. She was the devoted wife of the late William J. Slater and was a former resident of Russell St., New Haven. Born in New Haven on Jan. 5, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Whalley Egan. She is survived by a son, Thomas F. (Noreen)
Slater of Hamden; three daughters, Margaret (Dwight) Ottenbreit of New Haven, Martha (Donald) Warner of Northford and Judith (Raymond) Barera of Hamden. Also survived by 7 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren, all living in Greater New Haven. Mrs. Slater retired from Bank of Boston after 15 years in the accounting department.
