Born in Childs, MD, on April 19, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Mary Potts Preston.
Survivors include four daughters: Carol Truitt of Elkton, MD, Jackie Watson of Rising Sun, MD, Teresa Warren of North East, MD, Beth Vaught of Elkton, MD and two sons: Charles A. Adams, Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Adams, daughter, M. Lee Gross, sister, Julia Dixon, and two brothers, Raymond and William Preston
