Mrs. Dorothy Porch Kelley earthly journey began on July 10th, 1930, in Talladega County, Alabama to the parents of John Porch and Willie Mae Porch. Mrs. Kelley accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Harper Springs Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.
Mrs. Kelley was a dedicated janitor at Sylacauga Elementary Schools. After many years as a janitor, she began house cleaning around the community.
Along Mrs. Kelley’s life’s journey, she met and united in Holy Matrimony the late Clinton Kelley.
On November 19th, 2022, under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Mrs. Kelley departed this walk of life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Kelley, father, John Porch, mother, Willie Mae Porch, brothers, sisters, and a grandson.
Mrs. Kelley’s love will forever be cherished by her loving daughters, Willie Mae Porch of Richmond, VA, and Druscilla Kelley of North Carolina; sons, Billy Ray (Sharon) Kelley and Craig Kelley both of Sylacauga, AL; four grandchildren, Anthony Johnson, Brian Johnson of New York, T’Kinasha Kelley and Kaynnar Kelley of Ohio; fifteen great grandchildren, four nieces, seven nephews, two special cousins, Shirley Jones and Carrie Hale; special nieces, Sharon Wilson, and Brenda Jean Crowe; special friends, Oral Lee (old boy) Cook and Samantha Wilson; special God daughters, Bobbie Jean McGhee and Nikki; and a host of other relatives and friends.
