Dorothy P. Hickey 78 of Lavallette, NJ died on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at home. Born in Plainfield, NJ she lived in Summit, NJ before moving to Lavallette 25 years ago.
She had summered in Lavallette since 1980. Dorothy worked as a Group Supervisor for Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ for 35 years. She was an active member of the Finance Council at the parish of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina RC Church in Lavallette, she was also an active member of the Lavallette Yacht Club and the Republican Club, Lavallette, NJ.
Dorothy is survived by her brother Donald and his wife Beverly of Brielle, NJ. Sisters Patricia and her husband Fred Kaczor of So. Yarmouth, Mass, Barbara Pender of Florida and Elizabeth Higgins of Dorchester, Mass, and over 35 nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
