Dorothy passed away peacefully with dignity and grace early Friday morning, February 16, 2018 under the compassionate care of Reverence Hospice at Kairos Dwelling. She was born on June 28, 1933 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of William and Alice Rose (Southworth) DePouw. On August 26, 1950, she was united in marriage to George Naegele, who preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2006.
Also preceding her in death were her sister: Gertrude Bryer and brother: Harold DePouw. Surviving are her three children: Sharon (Lee) Eshlaman of Galesburg, David (Kristine) Naegele of Port Orange, FL and Deborah Adams of Elberta, AL; four grandchildren: 9 great-grandchildren; and two brothers: William and Peter DePouw.
