Dorothy (Kasza) Miglio, 86, of LaSalle, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at IVCH in Peru.
Mrs. Miglio was born on March 7, 1925 in LaSalle to Stanley and Helen (Adrian) Kasza. She married Francis J. Miglio on March 27, 1945 in St. Joseph’s Church in LaSalle. She worked at Westclox, and Go-Dan Industries. Dorothy was a member of St. Hyacinth’s Church in LaSalle and was a former member of Resurrection Parish and their altar and rosary society.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary (Joe) Stachowicz of LaSalle; two sons, James (Holly) Miglio of Houston, TX and Michael W. Miglio of Peru; 6 grandchildren, Amy Sue Gift, Janelle Marie Smith, Lauren Marie Stachowicz, Neill Joseph Stachowicz, Joseph Victor Miglio, Michael James Miglio; 2 great-grandchildren, Maxwell Richard Miglio and Avery Morgan Smith; and one sister, Joan Drag of Peru. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis on February 18, 2006; one son, Richard Miglio; and one brother, Wayne Kasza.
Pallbearers will be Amy Sue Gift, Janelle Marie Smith, Lauren Marie Stachowicz, Neill Joseph Stachowicz, Joseph Victor Miglio, Michael James Miglio, Luke Smith, and Michael Gift. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Patrick Wyffels, Dr. Tom Curry, and the nurses and staff at Heritage Healthcare Center in LaSalle.
