Dorothy McClain Morguson, age 91, entered eternal rest on September 14, 2021. She moved to Okeechobee, Fl., coming from Winchester, KY in 2003. She was retired from the nursing profession. She was an active member of the Breast Cancer Society. She was a member of the Oakview Baptist Church, attending Sunday school and church services.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Edward G. Morguson; sons, Jerry Thomas (Janis), of Edgewater, Fl and Karl Heinzig, of Oklahoma City, OK; stepdaughters, Lisha Morguson and Melaine Morguson, both of Winchester, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Byron “Frosty” McClain; mother, Gladys McClain Kemp; infant brother, Paul Thomas McClain; brother, Bobby McClain, Sr.; sisters, Anna Pearl McClain Cottrell and Carolyn McNabb and nephews, Duane Thomas Clark and Bobby McClain, Jr.
In addition, she is survived by three grandchildren, Stacy Shimfessel Lawwill (Jim), Todd Thomas (Sherry), and Destiny Cartwright (Chris); three step-grandchildren, Edward Conner (Rachelle), Lena Conner Mays, and Bethany Lawrence Lipe (Nathaniel); six great-grandchildren, Samantha Shimfessel Mastin (Derek), Wade Shimfessel (Jessica), Paxton Thomas, Hillary Thomas (Zach), Jansen Thomas; nine great-great-grandchildren, Tatum Belle, Bridger Mastin, Phoenix Shimfessel, Lily Mae Shimfessel, Hudson Pritchard, Hunter- Claire Pritchard, and Kelly Grace Thomas; five-step great-grandchildren, Tesa Boyd, Leia Mays, Hadleigh Conner, Mylo Conner, and Griffin Lipe.
