Dorothy M. Guinan Norwich – Dorothy May Guinan, 100 of Norwich died Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Greentree Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterford. She was born in Norwich, CT on October 30, 1911 daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Burdick) Pearson. On July 3, 1933 she was united in marriage to Thomas Guinan. Mr. Guinan died in 1977. Dorothy was a lifetime communicant of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Norwich. She also loved to play bingo. Mrs. Guinan is survived by a son James T. Guinan of Bozrah, a daughter Dottie Brautigam of Norwich, her grandchildren, Beverly Ayers, James Guinan, Jr., Deborah DeRosier, David Guinan, James Cotton, Jr., and Stacey Peveto, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by a son Thomas Vaughn Guinan, two daughters Beverly Ann Guinan and Kathleen Cotton and a grandson James Phillip Brautigam.
