Dorothy Mary Jackson, 88 of West Bend died May 9, 2008 at the West Bend Care Center. Dorothy M Jackson the daughter of Patrick Kenny and Hattie Stasiaka, was born January 12, 1920 in LaSalle, Illinois where she was raised and received her education. She was united in marriage with Eugene Jackson March 27, 1941 in Mendota, Illinois. The couple moved to Pomeroy, Iowa where they lived until moving to West Bend in 1958. She worked in the hot lunch program in Pomeroy and also at St. Peter and Paul’s School in West Bend. Survivors inlcude her sons, Eugene (Patricia) Jackson of Pine Island, Minnesota, and Dwight (Sandra) Jackson of Des Moines, Iowa, grandchildren, Rusty(Lynn) Jackson, Wayne (Tami) Jackson,and Brian Jackson all of Pine Island, Minnesota, and Leslie (Lonny) McKay of Goodhue, Minnesota, and brother, Ed Kenny, of Illinois. Dorothy was a member of St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church and the Ladies Aid of the Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1996, a brother Francis and sister Sarah.
