Dorothy Tinnin Martin, 82, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at her home in Brandon, MS.
Dorothy Ruth Tinnin was born September 16, 1930 in Inverness, MS to the late Eustace ElRey Tinnin and Kathryn Ruth Ramey Tinnin. She loved teaching and had taught school in both the public schools and private schools for more than 35 years.
Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to do for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Portwood; a brother, ElRey Eustace Tinnin; and a grandson, Zachary Neal Martin.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Walter Neal Martin of Brandon, MS; son, Walter Neal Martin, Jr. (Suzan) of Saltillo, MS; daughter, Kathy McDill (Mark) of Pearl, MS; four grandchildren, Laura Hunt, Hospital, Memphis, TN.
Jessica Martin, Mary Elizabeth Martin, and Hunter McDill; one great-grandchild, Saylor Hunt; and two brothers, Ramey Tinnin (Charlotte) and Bill Tinnin (Madine) both of Inverness, MS.
