Dorothy M. Quick, 73 of Roberts, Idaho, passed away Wednesday January 4th, 2012, peacefully in her sleep. Dorothy was born September 15, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Arthur and Emma Keller. She grew up in Roberts and attended school graduating in 1956 from Roberts High School where she had, and made many wonderful lifelong friends.
Dorothy married Ronald V. Quick in 1956 in Carlsbad, California. They lived there until his death in 1966. Dorothy returned to her home town to raise her four young children. She worked many jobs in Roberts, including waitressing in the old Roberts Café, working in potato warehouses and running the Mint Bar. When Dorothy found herself with an empty nest, she got involved with the city and ran for a council seat and was elected in for several terms.
