We remember Dorothy for the imaginative and liberal spirit that embodied so much of how she lived.
She thrived on creative projects whether it was renovating a run-down Victorian house, designing a Japanese garden, or creating cookbooks for her children.
She was an adventurous spirit who took her four children to London for a year simply because she thought they should experience living in Europe. She gave us freedom to be ourselves, to play wild and have fun in the world. She passed along her joy of cats and homemade fudge.
