Dorothy M. Schroeder, age 91 of Midland, died on Sunday evening October 30, 2016, at her residence.
The daughter of the late Edward and Amelia (Henning) Bahlman was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on November 30, 1924, where she was raised and educated. On June 1, 1946, in Mt. Clemens Dorothy married Howard T. Schroeder and after 65 years of marriage, he died on October 9, 2011.
Dorothy enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, sewing, doing oil painting, gardening, cooking, traveling, and dancing especially polka but most of all spending time with her family. She was involved with the Ladies Aid at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving is her children, Gary (Shirley) Schroeder of Midland, and Jan (Ray) Champion of Imlay City, Michigan; grandchildren, Nathan (Sara) Schroeder, Justin Schroeder, Aaron (Rowena) Champion, Sarah (Clint) Bowman, Lana (Eric) McIntosh; great-grandchildren, Kobe, Maria, Aniella, Maybel, Luke, Travis, and Will. In addition to her parents and husband.
Dorothy was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters..
