Dorothy M. Legan passed away October 25, 2012 in Canon City, Colorado. She was born to Johanna (Zaic) and John Skerjanec, Sr. on January 31, 1920 in Victor, Colorado. In the early 1920’s, her folks and all the family moved to a ranch in Canon City. In her teens, Dorothy worked as a clerk in Prospect Heights Store for a number of years. On November 14, 1942, Dorothy was united in marriage to Vincent J. Legan. Together they enjoyed gardening. In 1960, she went to work for Safeway as a clerk, retiring in 1982.
