Born in Stockton, CA on June 17, 1939 to the late Alvin and Edna Jensen, Dorothy was the beloved wife of Walter Emil Hebel, Jr; loving mother to Joanne Hebel Weeton and Walter “Butch” Hebel; mother-in-law to John Marquez, Randy Weeton and Lydia Acu Hebel; and grandmother to Rebecca Marquez and Douglas Hebel.
Dorothy moved to Alameda when she married Walter Hebel in 1961. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, crafting gift tags, greeting cards and Christmas décor. She was a member of the Salvation Army’s Women’s Auxiliary and The Sons of Norway, San Francisco Lodge. She will be missed by all who knew her.
