Dorothy M. Gayer, 72, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was born in Boston, MA and had lived in Cape Canaveral for16 years and moved to Cocoa Beach. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Donald Gayer; daughter, Brandi Maloney and Michele Snowdon; sisters, Rosalie Poisson and Rachel Sykes; brother-in-law, Bob Sykes; grandchildren, Kristopher, Lincoln, Kyle and Michael, Sarah Snowdon Jessica and a son, Mr. Stub’s.
Dot was a professional painter interior and worked for Phillips Academy, Andover Ma. 16 years and retired, then moved to Florida. She was the sweetest and loving lady you could be blessed to meet and tell it like it was. She was a runner and walker that did five miles a day and picked up trash and weeds along Ridgewood Ave. She walked all through Cape Canaveral to get names to get Ridgewood Ave redone. They started the project that year. She loved Cape Canaveral and she will be missed.
