CLEMENS, Dorothy M. of Plainwell, Michigan died November 22, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born May 6, 1929 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Lucille Wagner Carlson. She was united in marriage to Charles “Jack” Clemens on July 16, 1949, who survives.
Dorothy was a longtime member of Westwood Church of God. Dorothy was a very loving wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. She loved her family and was always making life interesting and fun for all. She loved gardening, cooking and had a huge heart for animals. Dorothy left us with a vast number of fantastic memories.
Also surviving are her children, Rick Karen Clemens of Kalamazoo, Gary Trace Clemens of Portage, Debbie Michael Miller of Kalamazoo, Susan Heldt Michael Mansfield of Kalamazoo and Laura Harry Schubert of Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also preceding Dorothy in death was a grandchild, Ceegee Heldt, who was very special.
