WASHINGTON?Dorothy M. Attig, 86, died Sunday morning, December 30, 2012 at her home.
She was born September 8, 1926 in rural Washington, Tazewell Co., IL, the daughter of John and Nancy (Burroughs) Glabe and married Vernon Attig on November 28, 1946, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, David (Sheila) Attig of Washington; daughters, Karen (Robert James) Roy of Ottawa, IL, Diane (Derek) Price of Peoria, IL; one sister, Ruth Cook of Round Rock, TX; one brother, Rev. Wayne (Ann) Glabe of Washington; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Doris Krus and grandson, Jon Bailin.
She graduated from Washington Community High School in 1944 and worked for Washington Township, retiring June, 2011.
