Dorothy Lowder Overcash, 98, of China Grove passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at her residence.
Born in Rowan County on August 19, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Lowder and and John Stephen Lowder.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Congregation in Salisbury.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Overcash, Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, James H. Overcash, Jr. (Shirley) of Salisbury; daughters, Joan Smith (Edward) of China Grove, Kay Henrickson of China Grove, Pauline Johnson (Leonard) of Kannapolis, Dianne Hodge (Leonard) of Jacksonville, FL, Donna Berry (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL, Lydia Barbee (David) of Salisbury and a great crowd of grandchildren and great-grandchildren
