Straughn- Dorothy Lillian Meyerholtz, 90, of Straughn passed away Friday afternoon April 13, 2018 at Henry Community Health in New Castle. She was born November 28, 1927 in Straughn, Indiana, a daughter of the late Fred and Hazel (Butler) Palin. Dorothy graduated from Straughn High School and from Gradworl School for Lab and X-ray Technicians. She worked at Henry County Hospital. Dorothy married her only love, Kenneth Meyerholtz, on October 12, 1946, at her home in Straughn. She was an active member of the Straughn Community Chapel, where she served as song leader, treasurer, and president of the women’s fellowship for many years.
