Dorothy Lee Sammons, 82, of Lake City, Florida, went to be with Jesus on September 20, 2015, following an extended illness.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Health Center of Lake City and Haven Hospice for the wonderful, loving care, they gave our mother, you are the best.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Talatha (Mike) Harvey of St. Augustine, Florida, Phyllis Benefield of Newberry, Florida, Jennifer (Donnie) Creamer and Lona (Johnny) Baxter of Lake City, Florida; her sons: Marvin Berry and Wayne Berry of Lake City, Florida; her grandchildren: Mandy Yoder, Josh Berry (Shana), Wayne Lee Berry, Kelli (Enondrus) Phillips, Shelley Berry, Ashley Smith and Harley Baxter; and 10 great grandchildren.
