She was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Bennett and Hazel is survived by her husband, Earl S. Howard; one son, Earl “Tommy” Howard and wife, Peggy of Dobson; one daughter, Tammie Sawaya and husband, George of Durham; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
