Dorothy Mae Lee was born on January 20, 1953 in West Point, Mississippi to the proud parents, Dallas Lee and Emma Mitchell Lee. She was the youngest child of six children born to this union.
Dorothy accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She currently attended Cornerstone Christian Center under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Greg Howse, where she was a part of the Children Ministry as a Teacher.
Dorothy attended the Ministerial Institute and College High School.
Dorothy health had begun to decline, and she went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2019 at 5:24 p.m. at Advocate South Suburban Hospital.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Emma Lee, and her two sisters, Carrie and Dealie. Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories to her precious children, Keith (Iris), Janel, Troy (Michelle), Reginald, Lasonja; her brother, Joseph; her sisters, Catherine (Charlie), Callie (Renaldo); her brother-in-law, Bishop Major Johnson, Sr., her granddaughter, Kierra Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will fondly cherish her memory.
