Obituary of Dorothy L. Hazen
Hazen, Dorothy L. of Interlochen formerly of Saginaw, MI passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 67 years old. Dorothy Lynn Filip was born on November 20, 1948 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Bowden) Filip. She married Dr. Ronald C. Hazen on June 23, 1973 in Detroit.
Dorothy’s memory will be cherished by her husband: Dr. Ronald C. Hazen; children: Nicole Hazen and her husband, Todd Bushbaker and Ron “R.J.” Hazen and his husband, Jeffrey Buczynski; grandchildren: Annika and Lukas Bushbaker; sister-in-law: Christine Hazen; nephew, Dr. Greg Hazen; niece, Beth Hazen. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family and close friends, Marilyn Proctor, Karen Schultz, Mindy Leibinger and Jan Bensdorf.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Crystal Hazen-Toft and Carmen Hazen; brother-in-law: Dr. Lawrence Hazen.
