Dorothy L. Brock, 88, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010, at The Waters of Yorktown. She was born November 1, 1921, in Montpelier, the daughter of John W. and Alice Effie Wilson., and attended school in Montpelier.
She came to Muncie after World War II, moved to Whitley County in 1978, and lived there until returning to the Muncie area in 2008.
While in Muncie, she and her husband, Marshall Brock, ran a route for the W. T. Rawleigh Company, in the Whitely Neighborhood.

Surviving are three sons, Billy Brian Brock, Muncie; Clifford M. Brock, (wife, Mildred), Fulton, Mississippi, and Robert Lee Brock, Sr., (wife, Sandra), Deltona, Florida; her former daughter-in-law, Mickey Ann Brock, Muncie; seven grandchildren, Brian Brock, Tina Louise Rees, (husband, Doug), Terry A. Hefflin, Tammy Hoppas, Robert L. Brock, Jr., Troy Brock, Steven Brock and Clifford Brock; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Marshall E. Brock, who died in 1999; her daughter, Charlene Brock; and three sisters, Nellie Wilson, Lucinda Philebaum and Mary C. Lane.
