Dorothy Kubler Jevitt, 90, died peacefully at her home on December 8, with her family at her side. Dorothy was dearly loved by her children Mary (Dick) Kucera of Miami, Joe Jevitt, Tony Jevitt, Kathy (Ron) Edwards, Alex (Amy) Jevitt, Bob (Betty) Jevitt, grandchildren Mayra, Ana (Kevin), Christina (Josh), Julia (Mike), Taylor, Lauren, Allison, Andrew, Aaron, Cara (Brad), Annie, great grandchildren Jacob and Marley and many loyal and caring is survived by her sister, Mary Hanley of Indianapolis, IN and sister-in-law Betty Kubler of Albuquerque, NM.

Dorothy was born in Connersville, IN and attended nursing school at Indiana University. She and her husband, Stan, moved to Cocoa Beach in 1959 for the space program. She was a devoted nurse and administrator at Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital. She beganplaying violin as a young girl and was a founding member of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she was an active private pilot who enjoyed flying with friends and family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest passion was helping others.
