Dorothy K. Drechsler, 94, of Bunnell, FL, formerly of Westminster, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at the Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast, FL. Born August 12, 1921 in Oriskany, VA, she was the daughter of the late David Frango and Hattie Dobbs Frango. Her husband Lewis Albert Drechsler died Dec. 4, 1977 and son John Lewis Drechsler died May 5, 2002.
Before retiring she was a presser at Westminster Knit for 40 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Reese Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose Chapter No. 897.
She is survived by one daughter Patricia Beaver of Bunnell, FL, two sisters Pearl Connor of Iron Gate, VA and Ruth Duncan of New Castle, VA, 4 grandchildren Keith Staley and wife Kim of Bunnell, FL, Genie Whaley and husband Darren of Bunnell, FL, Susan Stultz of Westminster, Kristen Cohen of St. Petersburg, FL. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers Ray, Frank and David Frango, Jr. and a sister Thelma M. Frango.
