Dorothy Jean Eddy, 86, of Gypsy passed away on October 22, 2013 at United Hospital Center. She was born on August 9, 1927 in Peoria; daughter of the late Winfield Scott Burge and Rosa Maude Ashcraft Burge. She is survived by three daughters, Betty Kittle of Gypsy; Bonnie Tenney and Lana Luby both of Buckhannon; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Eddy in 1995; one daughter, Rosa Davis; three brothers, Russell Burge; Paul Burge; Ray Burge; one sister, Madeline Reed; one grandson, Jeremy Thomas; and one great grandson, Steven Starkey. Dorothy was a beloved care giver to family and friends and was a Methodist by faith. She loved to play Yahtzee and cards.
