Dorothy J. Reed, 82, formerly of Cogan Station, entered into the presence of her Jesus and Savior Wednesday February 9, 2011 at The Williamsport Home.
Born January 2, 1929 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late James and Edith Whittier Jacobson.
She was a devoted wife to her husband, Ernest Eugene Reed, who preceded her in death in 1985.
Dorothy had worked for Lowery Electric, Avco, and Fay Jan Tool Sales.
She was a loving mother to her four children; Carol J. (Dave) Laylon of Cogan Station, Sharon A. (Brian) Schmick of Bloomsburg, Stephen J. Reed of Williamsport, and Thomas E. (Barb) Reed of Cogan Station, 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a brother Rev. Donald (Sylvia) Jacobson of Lockport, NY.
