Passed on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at her residence. Dorothy was born March 3, 1920 in Lansing, Michigan a daughter of Melvin and Ruth (Smith) Moone. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 15 years, coming from Westland, Michigan.
Dorothy was also a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Portage. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Allen Hutchison in 1978; her second husband, George Bowerbank in 1995; and a sister, Margie Lott. Dorothy is survived by 3 children, Ronald (Terry) Hutchison of Galesburg, Lynne (Chris) Walsh of Grafton, MA, and Carol (David) Groening of Fairfax, VT; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Maxine Hannert of Shelton, CT; and several nieces and nephews.
