Mrs. Alexander died Monday, August 20, 2012 in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Alexander was born May 8, 1919 in Belton, the daughter of Arch Robert Hunter and Minnie Alene (Boyd) Hunter. She married Dave Alexander November 30, 1935 in Belton. She retired from Sears Roebuck Co. after 32 years where she served on the sales staff and was a division manager.

She was active in the Heritage Club at Compass Bank, serving on the advisory board and as a travel coordinator. Mrs. Alexander was active in the Golden Age Club of First Baptist Church and Young at Heart at Miller Heights Baptist Church. She was a member of Keys Valley Baptist Church for more than 90 years. She taught Sunday School for more than 60 years and sponsored young people for more than 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dave Alexander in 1989, daughter Glenda Alexander Tweedle in 1989 and her son Bobby Alexander in 2009; also two brothers Robert Hunter and Dorman Hunter and sister Frances Hunter Miles. Survivors include her daughter Pat Wilson and husband Robert “Punk” Wilson of Belton, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
