Dorothy Herrmann (nee Malone), of Homestead in Columbus, is at peace after entering into eternal rest with our Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Pavilions at Princeton, at the age of 80. Mrs. Herrmann was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and she had been a resident of Homestead for the last fifteen years.
During her life she had worked occasionally but she was foremost a devoted wife, mother and home maker known for her love for her family and her many friends. She enjoyed traveling and being involved in many activities and doing volunteer work.
She was also a Red Hat Lady. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward C. Herrmann, her children and their spouses, Ray and Pat Herrmann, Steven and Diane Herrmann, Debbie and Mike Murphy, and Tim and Maureen Herrmann, her seven grandchildren, Kerri and her fiancé, Frank, Michael, Caitlin, Lauren, Megan, Ryan, and Colleen, her brother and sister in law, Bill and Joan Malone, her brother, Bob Malone, her sister, Marilyn Blatz, as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she loved very much.
