Mrs. Hathway was born on December 13, 1925 and raised in Durham, CT a daughter of the late Webster and Anne (Campbell) Chapman. She was a 1944 graduate of Durham High School and received a B.S. in Home Economics from the University of Connecticut in 1948. Mrs. Hathway had served on the Elderly Commission in town; had been a Cub Scouts Dem Mother and taught Sunday School for many years.
She leaves three sons, Alan W. Hathway of Northfield, Keith C.
