Dorothy Jane Helms Adams granted her angle wings
March 22, 2011. Born February 15, 1922 in Clinton,
Indiana, to Milo and Francis Wimsett Helms. She
leaves behind the love of her life, David Lawrence
Adams, and would have celebrated their 68th wedding
anniversary April 29. She and her husband were blessed
with three children: Glenn Allen, Davala Jean Franke, and
Richard Lawrence; Nine Grandchildren, sixteen Great-
Grandchildren, and two Great, Great Grand-children.
She loved the lord and using her gifts as a beautician
to serve others. She was an active member of North
and energy as a caregiver to those in need, especially
her mother who passed away at the age of 98. She is
also survived by her sister, Wanetta Shell, and
her brother and wife, Jim and Edna Helms. Her
life’s verse is Galatians 5:13, “But through love serve
one another.”
