Dorothy Glenn Sharp Oldfield, 92, of Huntsville died at 4:30 am on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the Donalson Care Center Hospice in Fayetteville TN. She was born on June 1, 1928 in Huntsville Alabama to Cleveland and Gertrude Sharp. She married Harvey Lee Oldfield on September 1, 1936. They were married for 53 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Gertrude Sharp; spouse, Harvey Lee Oldfield; daughter, Deborah Ann Cunningham and brother, Howard Sharp.
She is survived by one son: Ronnie Wayne Oldfield of Huntsville, three daughters: Connie Lee Baker of Huntsville; Betty Belinda Mullins of Huntsville; Angela O. Mead of Huntsville. Seven Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was a homemaker for many years and a member of Five Points Baptist Church. She worked for Huntsville City Schools Child Nutrition Program until retirement. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and shopping. Most important was spending time with her family.
