Dorothy Garrett, age 85 of Okolona, Arkansas, passed away on February 8, 2021 in Hot Springs. She was born on November 16, 1935 in Cowhide Cove to the late Bluitt and Lola Murphy Funderburk.
She was a member of the Antoine Church of Christ. Before retirement, she worked as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and working in her yard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Garrett and her sister Nell Kendall.
Survivors include her daughter Debbie Wahl and husband Greg of Okolona; her brother Bill Funderburk of Delight; two grandchildren Lindsey and husband Matt Henderson of Delight and Alyson Melson and husband Kevin of Delight; five great-grandchildren Aden Henderson, Kyndall Henderson and Garrett Melson and the expected arrival of Carlyn and Tanner Melson; as well as a host of other family and friends.
