Mrs. Prescott was born May 5, 1921 in Chula, GA, and she grew up in Lake Wales and Bartow, FL. She and her family moved to Lakeland in the early 1940s.
Mrs. Prescott was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Willie H. Prescott. She is survived by her sons, Wil Prescott, Larry Prescott and his wife, Mary, and Don Prescott and his wife, Illona; sisters, Minnie Lee Williams and Virginia Corley; brother, W. L. DeLoach, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
