Dorothy W. Williams, 87, died at home from complications of pancreatic cancer coupled with a catastrophic stroke. She was born November 10, 1934 at home in Lockesburg, Arkansas, the daughter of Lancelot Ollie and Claudie Lee (Combs) Jeanes.

Dorothy graduated from Carrollton High School, class of 1952. Following graduation, Dorothy began working at Alford Refrigerated Warehouse as a mail clerk. Over the span of 40 years, she worked her way up to lead the Accounting Department and all of its functions. Dorothy continued her education by taking courses at Eastfield Community College, Richland Community College, and Amber University. Ultimately, Dorothy became a certified Pharmacy Technician and worked as a research assistant for a prominent physician in Dallas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a sister, Evelyn Lee Brackenridge; her brother, Lanny Mike Jeanes; and two infant brothers. Survivors include a son, Wayland Jerome Wharton; and a daughter, Brenda Lee Williams. Additional, Dorothy is survived by two grandchildren, Todd Andrew Wharton and wife Jennifer, and Nicole Marie Gianturco and wife Mary Jo. Great-grandchildren include Kendall, Kiley, and Korbin Wharton, along with Christopher (CJ) and Maggie Gianturco. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanette Lehman and Nath Hilton (Sonny) Jeanes, along with several nieces and nephews.
