Dorothy “Dot” Elizabeth Moody, 85, a resident of Gooding, passed on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Stonebridge Assisted Living in Wendell.
Dorothy was born on March 29, 1937 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Elmer and Fern Jones. She was raised and educated in Twin Falls.
Dot married George Moody, Jr. on November 4, 1955.
She is survived by: her son – John Moody of Idaho; her daughter – Julie (Ray) Owings of Arizona; three sisters – Norma Christenson of Alaska, Connie Canoy of Arizona and Sharon Carlson of Washington; seven grandchildren – Tosha Moody Carter, Tonya Moody, James Owings, Joshua Branham, Zack Moody, Melissa Avery and Justin Avery; and five great grandchildren – Christian Carter, Cody Carter, Gavin Baum, Gracy Baum and Ella Baum.
She was preceded in death by: her husband – George Moody, Jr.; son – Ted Moody; brother – Max Jones; and her parents – Elmer and Fern Jones.
