Dorothy Eleanore Lalum (Anderson), 95, passed on to join her beloved on Friday, December 14, 2007 at the Heritage Place in Kalispell, Montana. She had been a resident for 2 ½ years. She was born on September 1, 1912 in Almont, North Dakota to Hogan and Anna (Seim) Anderson.
Dorothy became an Elementary School Teacher and in 1962 went back to teaching in Whitefish until 1975 when they moved to Kalispell and retired.
Dorothy married Palmer Lalum in 1948 and they raised their children on a farm north of Joplin, Montana.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Palmer in 1993, a daughter, Diane in 1999 and her daughter-in-law Gaylene in 2003. She is survived by her son Andy Lalum of Kalispell, MT along with five grandchildren: Alysa and Annika Walker, and Adam, Andrea and Jessica Lalum; and a great granddaughter, Abigail.
